Superstars
MWF: November will be full of turkeys and learning about Thanksgiving.  We will be creating patterns and learning about our 5 senses.  We will also continue to work on name, letter and number recognition.  Instead of a Bible story we will work on memorizing Hebrews 12:28 "...Let us be thankful and worship God..."

TTh: This month we turn our attention to God's harvest, the life cycle of a pumpkin, the Mayflower story and our families.  We will focus on giving thanks as we introduce patterns, continue learning our ABC's and counting 1-20.

Monkey Business:

We will learn what it means to be thankful and how the first Thanksgiving came to be. We will also continue our discussion of fall, seasons, and the calendar.  Last, we will take a closer look at the letters I, P & T, discuss patterns, and learn about our 5 senses.

The 3 year old classroom has a Christian loving atmosphere where the children's knowledge really begins to blossom. Throughout the year the children will master their colors and shapes. Letters are a primary focus with concentration on one letter per week.  They are encouraged to count aloud and recognize the numbers from 1-10.  Fine motor skills and beginning writing skills are practiced through fun arts and craft activities.

The Gospel and Bible stories are an intricate part of the daily routine.  The children attend Chapel biweekly where God's Word is presented on their level.  Stories, singing and movement get them excited and help them learn.  The lessons are then reinforced in the classroom with additional activities.

Once a week the children attend a special enrichment class.  This class includes library, music, art and science.  Each lesson provides the children an opportunity to explore the gifts God has given them and learn about God's Creations through interactive activities.
