What We Did Today:

We read stories: The Big Red Sled, Llama Llama Red Pajama, and Corduroy’s Christmas

Our Bible Story (verse) was: Luke 2:11 A Savior has been born to you!

We sang songs: listened to music and danced with balloons

We showed our creativity with: tracing our hands for a special school wreath, coloring pictures of Santa with red and green, making gift bags, and we sorted shapes by color and counted 1-10. We traced number 8 and counted to 8. We also worked on following directions.

Our letter of the week: J
Our number of the week: 8
Our shape of the month: star
Our color of the month: red

We played inside

For snack time we had: applesauce, goldfish, and mini marshmallows.

Quote of the Day: Mrs. Beth: “What else did the wise men give Jesus?” Avery: “Stockings!”

We also: went to Enrichment and reviewed the calendar and said the Pledge at circle time. We reviewed the J sound and watched the ABC Mouse letter J video. We learned about the birth of Jesus in Enrichment and made the “Baby Jesus”

We had a great day!!!
