What We Did Today:

We read stories: Snowball Soup, Great Day for Up, and Under My Hood I Have a Hat

Our Bible Story (verse) was: Don’t be afraid for I am with you. Isaiah 43:5

We sang songs: Only a Boy Named David, ABC, and we listened to music and danced with balloons

We showed our creativity with: coloring mushrooms, cutting mice, and gluing the mice BELOW the mushrooms. We also talked about words that start with “L” and the “L” sound

Our letter of the week: L
Our number of the week: 9 – We traced 9 and counted groups of 9
Our shape of the month: circle
Our color of the month: white

We played inside and played with trains and foam letter blocks

For snack time we had: apple sauce, marshmallows, and puff-corn

Quote of the Day: Coy, about eggplant “Those are sweet. They look like bananas!”

We also: traced our names and did a search and find for snowflakes. We went over the weather, said the Pledge, and talked about weather. We talked about position words (under, over, behind) and went to Enrichment

We had a great day!!!

Don’t forget: we did a preposition “Over-Under-Around” obstacle course. Be sure to check the news tomorrow for news of school delays.
