What we did in summer camp today, July 16, 2015

The country we visited was Ireland.

Clownfish (Parent’s Morning Out)

Our art project was: gluing cotton balls and water day!

Other fun things we did were: sang songs and read books.

Our snack was: goldfish and pretzel goldfish.

Our PE activity was: water day!

Other fun things we did were: made four leaf clovers out of construction paper hearts.

Our snack was: cereal and animal crackers.

Something cool we learned was: Luke 15:7 “I tell you that in the same way there will be more rejoicing in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous people who do not need to repent.”

Monkey Business

Our art project was: a coloring sheet of the lost sheep.

Other fun things we did were: shamrock hide and seek, water day, pretended a balloon covered in shaving cream was a sheep.  We “sheared” it with a popsicle stick.

Our snack was: lucky charms, graham crackers and raisins.

Something cool we learned was what Irish music sounds like.  We talked about Blarney Castle and Jesus and the lost sheep.  He always comes to find us!

Busy Bears

Our art/PE activity was: water day!

Other fun things we did were: played “hot potato.”

Our snack was: lucky charms and goldfish.

Something cool we learned was: all leprechauns are boys in Irish mythology.  We also tried to pronounce “Muckanaghederdauhauila” the place with the longest name in Ireland.
