What we did in summer camp today – July 28, 2015

The country we visited was Peru.

Clownfish (Parent’s Morning Out)

Our art project was: coloring a llama, llama picture.

Other fun things we did were: played with our toys, sang songs, and read lots of llama, llama books.

Our snack was: goldfish and pretzel goldfish with creme wafers.

Something cool we learned was: Llamas live in Peru.

Doodlebugs

Our art project was: coloring snakes.

Other fun things we did were: puzzles and went on the playground.

Our snack was: tortilla chips, cereal and puffs.

Something cool we learned was: snakes are common in Peru.

Monkey Business

Our art project was: butterfly magnets and a rainforest coloring page.

Other fun things we did were: played soccer outside, learned some Spanish words and danced to the animal boogie.

Our snack was: goldfish, marshmallows, raisins and water.

Something cool we learned was: all about butterflies and that Peru has lots of llamas.  We read, “Butterflies,” “Llama, Llama Red Pajama,” and “The Inca Empire.”

Elementary

Our art project was: making beaded butterflies.

Other fun things we did were: played board games and polly pocket.

Our snack was: wheat thins and cookies.
